In 1838, a man named Friedrich Bessel successfully measured the parallax of the star 61 Cygni. To this day we continue to measure the parallax of nearby stars, which we can then use to calculate their distance using the equation d = 1/p, where d is distance (in parsecs) and p is parallax in arcseconds. How does the flat Earth society explain this?
