1. I've heard a lot of things, saying all space companies were fake, and just taking tax money. What proof do you have? I've never once heard or seen of an article saying this.

2. IF the Earth was flat, why do we have a history of proof for the round Earth, and not against it?

Half a penny of every federal tax dollar actually ends up at NASA. SpaceX is completely private. Not many other space companies other than Boeing, SpaceX and, Blue Origin (Which all are private and only run off of stockholders).
