Serious question: why is this so common? Is it the celibacy? The religion itself? I'm really curious, because priests/archbishops/etc are always getting caught with CP.
What is the correlation between Catholicism and CP? What drives these priests to look at children over say.... adults?

You do really wonder what some Irish people do be doing still following that fucking church. Anyway, this is a case of a paedophile. A lot of the rapes, however, stem from the repressed sexual urges of Priests due to them not being able to marry/have hoes. Doesn't make it right, but I feel like it answers why, at least.

That answers why they look at porn in general, not child porn. And this isn't just a one time thing that we can attribute to psychological problems of this one individual. Many priests have been caught with CP or just straight up violating children.

The CP is actual paedophiles, the rape is due to younger boys being (especially in the past) around Priests alone for so long.

The Vatican doesn't have any long term prisons. Vatican criminals usually spend time in Italian prisons with the Vatican covering the costs.
