Time and Gravity are the same thing.
« on: December 01, 2013, 09:13:46 PM »
The base elements of the universe are time and gravity, prove me wrong. I say that because I don't know of a word that combines time and gravity into one singular idea.

ftfy.

John Baez estimates that there are 26 fundamental physical constants that make up the universe. Not two.

they include
Constant of gravitation
Speed of light
Planck constant
Elementary charge
Electron mass
Rydberg constant
Proton-electron mass ratio
Hubble constant
Planck mass
Planck length
Planck time
Magnetic flux quantum
Bohr magneton
the mass of the up quark
the mass of the down quark
the mass of the charmed quark
the mass of the strange quark
the mass of the top quark
the mass of the bottom quark
4 numbers for the Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix

All of those things can be either explained using time or gravity. Next.

Please explain Electron Mass as a function of time and gravity.

Mass is a result of gravity over a length of time.

Ok, now this belongs in CN.

Don't get mad just because you can't science as hard as me.

Gravity is dependent on amount of mass.  Time is dependent on amount of fun.
I don't even care to find out what you're doing wrong, but I'm sure you're doing something wrong.

Gravity is dependent on amount of mass.

This is incorrect even to an amatuer physicist. Gravity is based on energy, not mass.

Time is dependent on amount of fun.

Irrelevant.

Mass and Energy are interchangeable, but even then I would assume that gravity is relative to the indent mass makes on space-time.

No, they're not.

Mass is the result of gravity, not the other way around.

No, they're not.
Small amounts of mass can be converted to large amounts of energy and large amounts of energy can be converted to small amounts of mass.

From what I know, mass/energy causes empty fields of space to curve thus creating gravity.

No. This is a common misconception. Only relative mass can be converted to energy, and relative mass was never really mass in the first place.

How would you be sure the gravity doesn't cause the mass?

The Higgs field is thought to be the source of mass.  Gravity has never been held up as a source of mass, but rather a field that is contributed to by mass.

Some FEers belive in gravity, some don't.

Had a thought on my bike ride in to work. How would you define space in terms of gravity and time only?
