the computer is going to have trouble driving the desktop background, let alone anything particularly useful to people that have a computer for something other than Facebook.

Nah. It will probably be silky smooth though.

You could also buy a Dell 5k monitor for the same price as the iMac when it ships later this year.

Or you could just get an iMac and get a whole computer too, along with the higher quality display.

iMacs will now ship with 5k displays. Get wrecked Windows shills.

Only $2500 to use Facebook and Garage Band? Sounds great! :D

No, it's $2500 for the best 27 inch display on the market.

Nuclear power will never overcome the stigma that it's a giant nuke ready to go off at any moment. As unlikely as that is, people don't want a reactor within a fatal radius of them. Solar will probably be the primary energy source in the coming decades.

This is what it's like for the rest of us whenever we argue with you.

Except the only long winded arguments I get into here are opinionated nonsense and have no factual answer.

Morrowind is generic fantasy and someday you'll just have to accept that.

Irrelevant.

As it stands, it's not a world killer because it's not hugely contagious. But it has potential through mutation. And the more people it infects, the bigger the chances get of it mutating.
No. A dog doesn't mutate into a goat. Viruses don't make quantum leaps in evolution. They are the same as any other organism. Stop reading reddit and read a biology book.

And we were second in the quiz. :(
No money this time.

Viruses can mutate in the timespan of a few days. And they reproduce much more quickly than goats and dogs.

The only proper way to permanently delete files on your hard drive is to burn it. When it cools, the magnetism on the disk will align with the earth's magnetic field and permanently erase all the data.

The World Health Organization reported sobering new figures Tuesday about the Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa, saying the mortality rate had risen to 70 percent and that the number of new cases could reach 10,000 per week by December.

Except Ebola isn't on a par with any of these diseases. You just quoted it. Malaria kills more children in 3 days than this disease has in this outbreak.

In fact there are no lethal diseases that are as small right now as Ebola. None even close. The worldwide attention for such a meagre death rate is astonishing. It is just scaremongering to have people think their governments are protecting them. Expect greater surveillance of citizens as a result under the guise of 'protecting from Ebola and other 'pandemic' diseases'.

If Ebola spread to the degree that malaria did, it would kill many many more people. Hence the need for prudence.
It won't. Contact to contact is a slow way to spread a disease. Fast spreading need to be airborne (like influenza), waterborne (like cholera)in places with poor water treatment facilities or via carriers (like Malaria).

LoL is an MMO.

No it isn't. Just because a lot of people play it, it doesn't mean it's an MMO.

937
Oh man you got me.

938
It seems like the MMO craze is slowly winding down.

No. The market is just saturated. WoW still exists and has a gargantuan sub base. New games (i.e last few years) like LoL and Dota2 have also pulled in millions of people.

League of Legends isn't even remotely in the same genre. I was referring to the type of MMO that WoW is, not just any type of game that has online play. Besides, WoW's subscription numbers have been slowly decreasing.
