The Sun had a diameter 109 times that of  Earth. That means the Sun's area would be roughly 1,300,000 times that of Earth.
The Sun is made up of 73% hydrogen. Which is by far the lightest element known to man. And 25% Helium.
Here's my question.
Why does the Sun have a mass 330,000 times that of the Earth?

I live around 31 latitude in the northern hemisphere.  It’s hot most of the year and this week average Highs will be around 80f and lows 60f. Close to the same temp are the same all alone the East coast of USA from latitudes of 30-34. 
If you would go same latitude on the Atlantic Ocean coast in the Southern Hemisphere, say Rio Grande do Sul.  The average highs this week will be 55f and 40f for lows.  It should be the same temperatures in Rio Grande today as it would be where I live at in April/May.   Our average highs in May are 85f and 65f for lows. The temperatures are no where close to one another.
Does the Sun increase in elevation as it gets closer to January?

Flat Earth Investigations / Infrared thermometer to read the Sun

I need some help with this one.

At mid day if I aim the infrared thermometer gun at the Sun it Max’s out at 850F. Aiming 1” to the north,south,east,or west and the temp drops to 80F-100F. Another 1” and it drops to about 30F. Another 1” and the gun hits its low limits of -30F.

Here’s my question. About 9:00a.m. I will get a reading of 550F-600F. But why do I have to aim the temp gun 3-4” lower than where the Sun is.   I have to aim the infrared gun where the Sun was at 7:30a.m.

Is the Sun we see a reflection off of something like the Dome and the real location of the Sun is further back and at a higher altitude?

It would make sense why in the morning the time it takes the Sun at Sunrise till it gets to you is shorter than when the sunsets and is moving away from you.

How come if your looking at a total eclipse from a airplane you can see sun light on the horizon. Dark on top and on bottom with light in the middle.

Flat Earth Theory / Moon and Stars

How is it possible that the moon doesn’t pass in front of any stars. I kind of understand how it works on a flat Earth. But I’m curious what’s the explanation for it on a round earth. And if it does, I’ve never seen it happen.  And I have watched the moon move across the night sky many of times.

Flat Earth Investigations / Infrared Thermometer and the Sun

I used a Milwaukee infrared thermometer and pointed it towards the sun. I had to hit it exactly or a little to the left,  right, up or down and the temperature went to 0-50 degrees. But when I did aim it directly on the sun the temperature immediately rose to >500 degrees Fahrenheit.  Does that tell me the earth is closer than 85 million miles or 8 light minutes away?
