People in the UFO circles have been yelling about this shit happening for the past few years now. And yeah, Bob Lazar is allegedly also a whistleblower but he sucks tbh and people in the UFO circles don't even care for him.

What? That's not true, I love Bob and so do many others. His story remains consistent even now after all the years.

General opinion is that he's a grifter who lies about everything and has done more harm than good. Some people do believe him but at the very least he is extremely divisive and I feel like you'd know that if you actually had an interest in this stuff.

DISCLOSURE IS HAPPENING!

People in the UFO circles have been yelling about this shit happening for the past few years now. And yeah, Bob Lazar is allegedly also a whistleblower but he sucks tbh and people in the UFO circles don't even care for him. I definitely believe there has been a disinformation campaign happening. I've read Dr. Hynek's book and he was essentially brought into the Project Blue Book to be a debunker but eventually changed his opinions. He mentioned the Air Force always pushed the narrative they didn't exist and they eventually swapped him out with other project leads.

But this guy has just talked to high ranking people about these crafts? He's never actually seen it himself? Idk how much can come from this one.

It might be too "imaginary" but wouldn't that be how a lot of things seemed before they were scientifically proven? We are simple meat bags, it's very arrogant to assume we know (or can ever know) how everything works when our senses and the way we interact with the world are basic as hell. I mean fuck, medical science can't even figure out what causes endometriosis lol. But it is pointless to discuss anything like that particularly with this group of people.

There's no such thing as an 'earth-like' planet.
All the data we have about exoplanets shows our cosmos is an inhospitable sewer. The Drake equation with solve showing one civilization per galaxy.

Aliens aren't real but they do make awesome clickbait

This kind of thinking is too reliant on the assumption that we know how everything works. What if they're from another dimension or time?

You can hardly blame the juries for their decisions

Of course you can blame them when their votes go against the clear public favorites and have been politically motivated for a long time.

I'd probably have watched if they had. They should do one last tour, they could charge what they liked. There's the show in London with "ABBAtars", I'm sure it's good but it's stupidly expensive given that it's not actually them.

lol I literally made this topic and I've been watching Eurovision for years now, which I've already said. And I already said why Sweden won which should clue you in that I'm aware the songs are never chosen based on merit.

It's not at all but that has nothing to do with how much I know. I only mentioned how it's not a thing here because I've tried getting my friends involved which again should clue you in that I am already a fan.

Yes I know, thank you for mansplaining. I previously said why they think the juries went the way they did. Italy won the first year after COVID because they had it so rough but fortunately Måneskin was also great.

England's songs are also always shit but not enough to come in last. Same with Germany. And if the public had their way Finland would have won.

Anyway, the winner isn't what makes it fun, it's the songs and performances. I still listen to older Eurovision songs that I liked.

Sweden won with a boring song.


General consensus is that it's only because it's ABBA's 50th anniversary and they want Sweden to host next year. Also that the vote should be 100% public because they're tired of how rigged it is.

Can't say I disagree,  I almost never care about the winners except for Måneskin.

It's not. Thork brought it up years ago and I've been into the weird trash songs ever since. I've tried to get my friends interested but Americans truly do not care which is weird considering it's one of the few times we can laugh at Europe for being silly.

Will Ferrell did a movie about it in 2020 and still very few Americans seem aware of its existence at all.

I haven't even heard our song.

Your songs are always super boring so I don't even remember what it is.

It is kind of strange. Apparently we used AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles to shoot down the balloons...at a per unit cost of US$381,069.74. The payload on the first one was the size of a bus if the reporting is correct. Perhaps worthy of a $400k missile. Not sure about the others. F-22's have a 20mm Gatling gun. I would think you could just plink-plink a balloon with a few rounds at a fraction of the cost. Guess not.

We don't know that the others were balloons. Like Rushy said, they're being vague about it.

Descriptions of objects:
First object - Balloon over Montana

Second - "The object was very different to the balloon, the size of a Volkswagen Beetle, and was flying at 40,000 feet without any obvious system of propulsion or control, officials said."

Third - "Officials described the object as smaller than the first balloon and cylindrical. It was also flying at about 40,000 feet when it was shot down."
