Pirate Party has a good write up on this. I doubt anyone, besides those already voting for minor party's, will care about these changes. They'll likely be easy enough to get around anyway.

Triss is a horrible person taking advantage of Geralt's amnesia. I hate her by the end of the second game.

Why do you hate Triss? I didn't do completionist playthroughs of 1 and 2 but I'm still ambivalent towards her. I think it was Sila or Phillipa that said she's not telling me everything, but I never figured out what that meant.

Yeah, the more I hear about the new Battlefront, the less I'm interested.

Basically, I just want them to update the first game, give us some new maps, new units, space battles, and Galactic Conquest. Oh, and the option to turn off heroes. Ideally, they should aim to give us huge, sprawling battlefields, instead of the tight, cramped set-piece battles of Number 2.

This mirrors my views. Space battles were a great addition to #2. The idiot that thought a Star Wars game didn't need space battles needs to be fired.

I like how you can just walk around and rob everyone blind in their own houses.

You can spend trillions of dollars on foreign wars while enacting social change.

Do we know why he did it yet?

Long-term members probably already know that I'm a member of the Green Party of England and Wales and wear my political leanings very much on my sleeve. With political party membership at an all-time low across the Western world, I wonder how many other card-carrying weirdos there are out there. Whether you're a Democrat, Conservative, Pirate, Libertarian, or Monster Raving Loony, tell us who you'd go door-knocking for and what inspired you to join them.

Also a member of the Greens, Australian branch.

I'm excited for fallout, dishonored, and battlefront.

I was interested in Battlefront until they confirmed no space battles, Rebellion era factions only and BF4-esque small arenas. No point buying a game that's a step down from the previous iteration.

lore lore lore. I think it's funny that I got to bone Triss in the first real conversation I had with her.

Why is Geralt's hair grey? Is he a really fucking fit old man?

Gruffy McGruff.

It's explained in the first 30 minutes of #1. Witchers are superhuman monster hunters that go through a series of trials to gain their abilities. Can't remember if it was the second or third trial, but it results in grey hair and infertility by the end.

Ghost is off hunting pending a larger CGI budget. Drogon required all of the resources for these two episodes.

In fairness, while Tolkien did derive his inspiration from a number of sources (as any work always does), I think most people would believe that his legendarium stands distinctly separate from the works that influenced it. At least in that it's pretty clear when modern fantasy is reproducing Tolkien, compared to when it's reproducing Norse mythology. Warcraft lore serves as a good example; you can tell where the Greek mythology begins to mesh with Lovecraft, which then meshes with Tolkien.

A pretty solid finale...right up until the last scene.  They blew it.  Couldn't keep that annoying little runt Olly out of it, could you, D&D?  Whose fucking idea was it to ever have that annoying little shit be a character in this?  Did an HBO executive's kid really want a part or something?  Ever since he showed up, he's just been eating up screen time, doing things that were reserved for other, better characters, and in general just being an all-around drag on the show.  And now he gets to deliver the coup de grĂ¢ce to Jon Snow.  Also, even setting aside Olly's involvement, the whole scene came right the fuck out of nowhere.  In the books, Jon pushed and provoked the Night's Watch repeatedly, testing their loyalty multiple times with a series of questionable decisions, and when he finally goes too far, they lash out at him almost spontaneously.  Here, he does one thing that they don't like...so they wait several days before setting a bizarre trap for him, and coldly, dispassionately execute him once he falls for it.  It doesn't feel earned at all.

D&D are apparently insisting that Stannis and Jon are really dead, too.

Yeah they kinda fucked up the final scene. You don't like it because Jon dies, but you really can't blame the watch in the book because Jon did push it too far with his announcement. It was in public, everyone saw who did it, and it was spontaneous. Was also expecting "for me parents!" from Olly but "for the watch" is only slightly less retarded. He's not even in the watch, what does he care about it? Only reason he's stabbing Jon is because of his parents.

That said, what the hell was that Stannis cut? Is he dead or not? The mountain was great, hopefully cleganebowl actually happens. And fuck Ellaria Sand.
