If the Earth is flat, how can a G.P.S. satellite stay afloat?  Or the I.S.S., for that matter?

If the Earth is accelerating upward at a constant rate, then why does something weigh different at Mount Everest as opposed to sea level?

So, if the earth is flat, and accelerating upwards at 9.8m/s,  why don't the amazing amount of the communication satellites come crashing down?

If the hemishperes are flat and accelerating upwards at 9.8 m/s, why do meteors not fall flat? Or curve downwards during entry?

Here's a mind-raker: Studies have said that the north pole and south pole are near reversing their position. How would the Flat Earth model have its pole shift?

I am curious, if a person in the northern hemisphere can observe Polaris, why can't a person in the southern hemisphere do the same if the Earth is flat?
