Flat Earth Theory / Re: Flying over the ocean
« on: January 31, 2016, 07:40:48 PM »
Something your imagination is telling you you should see, maybe, since even REers recognize that the supposed curvature of the Earth isn't visible from an airplane.
So optical illusion?
I would expect so.

I do not understand the animosity in this thread.

The earth is not curved but I am not surprized that you perceived a curvature.  There are lots of optical illusions that give the impression of curved lines when they are actually straight.

At some point, your eyes fail to see forever ---- that place along your horizon will unlikely represent a straight line.  Thus, you get the impression of a curve.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Do other planets exist?

You told me to use google to find pictures of the Earth,
Not only that but his 1st link is nothing more than a Googly search.  That is not evidence --- rather, that is spamming and setting up a honey pot.

He is helping Google collect data.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Coriolis effect in FET
« on: January 26, 2016, 04:57:30 AM »
Point of order:  The true form of the earth does not hinge on any perceived/explained Coriolis effect.

How is Coriolis effect explained in FET? Does the disc rotate on itself?
Whatever explanation is provided by the globalists is good enough for the true earth.  There is no need for there to be a different explanation ---- if you want to believe in the Coriolis effect at all, that is.

Flat Earth Community / Re: Antarctica
« on: January 26, 2016, 04:46:05 AM »
I have found a major stumbling block for flat earth. Although the Antarctic treaty is very suspicious and the land mass remains unmapped, only computer generated images exist there is a problem.
You want to know what the biggest problem is?  It is ruddy expensive to go live up there.  Hence, impossible for the common man to verify anything.

Note to honest and honorable true-earthers:
You do not have to make the truth a scientific debate.  You can control the debate by making it into what matters most about human activity and knowledge:  money.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Universal Accelerator: A Disinfo Theory
« on: January 26, 2016, 04:43:05 AM »
I would never trust anybody who incorporated universal accelaration of the earth.  It makes no sense and it is used by disinformation trolls to sow confusion.
That may be so, but I wouldn't want to reject any possibility.
Does that disinfo-theory even make 1 whit of sense to you?   Seriously?

If you were to explain it to 10 of your random colleagues, how many of them would you expect to think it made 1 whit of sense?   I would reckon none of them ---- assuming you had the courage to go public with your curiosities.

Certainly, my currently preferred model doesn't involve it, but I feel it's only fair to examine the possibility. It may make no sense in certain formulations, but tachyons would answer many questions.
Tachyons???   How much of your effort are you going to waste on this Universal Accelerator nonsense??

----

You want folks to treat you as a scientist?
Hm.  Your true game is not that hard to figure out.  I bet $100 is that you here trolling the forums as a work-up towards designing your own disinfo theory.

Good luck!!

The size of your eye and the receptors on your retina make a difference in how you perceive light

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Size of the Pacific Ocean
« on: January 22, 2016, 03:48:13 AM »
How big is the Pacific ocean?
It varies.
How can anybody be confident that the continents do not drift?  For all we know, the oceans expand and contract as the continents float east and west.

Can any of you shills prove the continents do not float?  Show us proof your maps are true.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: The Conspiracy is Too Big
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:34:18 PM »
None of this has to be so difficult.

I have an idea for settling this once and for all. 2 methods:

1: A trusted flatearther actually takes the direct flight between Santiago and Sydney and journals everything faithfully; times, regular photos out the windows on both sides. This is expensive but the Society could chip in.

2: Find two trusted flatearth supporters to help, one in Santiago or who can get there, one in Sydney. Get Sydney to find the flight (if it doesn't exist you've won straight away) watch it take off and note it's tail numbers. Get him/her to contact Santiago just before the flight plan says it's going to land; if it doesn't, RE is in trouble.
Cheap fun day project for all involved!

I'd be happy to take part if someone wants to arrange it. Thankfully,
we can ask GoogleEarth to show us a live-streaming video of all of the flights the shills and disinformation trolls say exist........ oh, wait.

What's that all about then?
Why are you asking here?  You should ask NASA folks.

Ask the folks at NASA to show you a live view from space.  Ask GoogleEarth too and see what they say.  Tell them "I just want to see a timelapse video of the 24-hour sun in Antarctica, if you do not mind."  All you need is a camera attached to 1 of their fancy satellites or a weather balloon.  I expect it to be a marvelous sight to see.  Too bad all you got is an amateur fish-eye lens Youtube video.  What a sad state of scientific inquiry.

Flat Earth Community / Re: Antarctica
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:19:58 PM »
Nope,  the simpler solution is to come up with a proper flat earth map, that somewhat resembles reality.  If the earth is flat, it should be much easier than a globe map.
Done and done.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Question about the dome
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:18:03 PM »
Certainty requires evidence,
Sure.
The appreciation of evidence requires intelligence and integrity, in my opinion.  There is no sense throwing pearls before swine.

You can't at one point say that there's a lot of uncertainties and that your standpoint changes every six months, and then at the same time day it's certain the earth is flat.
Yes, I can because the true form of the earthly is certainly not a globe.
What do you expect?  Everything else is fun speculation.  Even you are having fun.  This discussion is about the dome.

As of right now, I am willing to bet $100 that you know you are lying.  Unfortunately, I doubt you would be able to offer proof either way.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Phases of the Moon
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:48:36 AM »
So what did you meant that the moon is a hologram?
It is not a physical object.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Phases of the Moon
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:35:28 AM »
Ancient folks see the moon the same way we see it --- with their naked eyes.

Flat Earth Community / Re: Antarctica
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:32:47 AM »
Obviously this isn't possible on a flat earth model, you would need to make a huge detour to go anywhere near Antarctica. Has anyone got any thoughts on this?
They are fake or nebulous half-truths at best.

There is no need to over-think this.  They faked and continue to fake space travel.  Why is faking Antarctica so hard to fathom??

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Phases of the Moon
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:24:53 AM »
What about the ancients using the moon for times and seasons?
What about them?  What makes them so special?
I would imagine folks can do that now just the same.  I do not see what difference that makes to the true form of the earth.

If your eyeball was the size of that of a squid, your retina would capture more information than if your eyeball was the size of that of a mouse or a fly.

Does that mean his eyeball gets bigger the further way the sun is?
No.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Rotations of the stars?
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:15:06 AM »
Your telling me there is a giant mirror up there?
It sure looks that way to me.

What about our ancient ancestors who claimed they saw the same thing?
You tell us.  What about them?

Flat Earth Theory / Re: moons vanishing point
« on: January 20, 2016, 08:47:15 AM »
My question is- Since the moon orbits the flat earth in a circular fashion and not in a strait path ellipse over head, like in the round earth model, should we not see an angular change through out the night of its features.
Perhaps but that reasoning seems to presuppose that the reflective surface of the dome is constant.  For all we know, the curvature of the dome bulges in and out in harmony with the movement of the sun.

Science & Alternative Science / Re: Infinity
« on: January 19, 2016, 04:57:59 AM »
For example, the infinite series "1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5... " can be evaluated. However, the result is disturbingly counter-intuitive.
It seems flawed too.

Right from the get-go, that Grundi series sounds like MyThButhterth-style rhetorical hypnotizm to confuse the masses.  The Grundi series calculation assumes that you stop the series at some point.  You can not do that.  You are looking at the concept of infinity backwards.

Infinity exists.  Notice the symbol for infinity is the same as the trajectory of the sun.

Notice how the number 8 is an infinity sign which accurately depicts the path of the sun going up and down as well as wide and small.

Notice how the 8th step of a musical scale takes you back to the fundamental leading the scale to infinity.

I reckon life for mankind would be a lot more peaceful if we adopted a base-8 numbering system.
