Philosophy, Religion & Society / Re: God is not a racist
« on: August 15, 2017, 09:32:48 PM »
There is plenty of racism and anti semitism within the flat earth movement unfortunately.
That's part of the reason why I'm here, there's not too many places you can go that aren't tainted with it.

The Bible is clear regarding Jesus appearance.
Isaiah 53:2 He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
Jesus was probably short with dark olive skin and would have been nothing to look at, a plain Mediterranean Jew.
The disciples would have looked similar to Jesus, not these white guys in all the paintings.
One of his best mates Nickodemus was probably black and was a leader in the Jewish Synagogue.

They seem to have less problems with racism than we do today.

It is possible to connect more than one point on the sides of the continent, then the points of the real continent can be determined by calculating the length of the wireless line between the two devices. Then we can get to the main shape.
Didn't know that it is possible to calculate a wireless line, is that achieved by signal strength vs distance.
Anyway, would love to see this calculation done for Australia.  ;D

I think their shape is so much more logical and logical for the climate.

Hi Romuotik  :)

Australia is always the wrong shape on these projection maps as they have to stretch it out.
No Aussie will ever take this map seriously, its laughable, (I am a flat earther by the way)
The distance in drive time does not match this map at all, so I dont trust any of the current maps.

I think your communication work sounds intriguing.
Any proofs offered will be welcomed by the Flat Earth community at large.
If you post your results on youtube you will come into contact with them.
This forum has quite a few round earthers who will try to disprove anything regarding FET.
So when you say "Brothers" well its more like "Combatants" around here.

I have a scenario in mind

First thoughts on this,

An epic opening scene with a lone Flat Earther cutting and pasting clips for youtube vids.
Scene quickly switches to a uni student in his dorm replying  "Bunch of garbage, go kill yourself"
Next riviting half hour, a back and forward forum exchange complete with cheese on toast break.
Some parts could be filmed in black and white to create a film noir effect (and cause its cheaper)

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Trip To View Catalina Island for curvature proof

Not the same thing at all.

You are correct, but why does it need to be the same thing?
Its just an innocent question after all.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Trip To View Catalina Island for curvature proof

I am here objectively looking for the truth.

Then do the experiment and see for yourself,  :)

Remember also that you already hold a position.
Do you think its easy to change everything you believed in since you were a little child.
These sighted distance arguments are hard to prove either way.
This has also been pointed out by the Roundies on this forum as well,

I believe it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that the earth is flat many many times over.
Have a good look on line, read the literature, check out the laser tests, photos, weather balloon evidence.
If you are objective then why let some people who you've never met before on a internet forum stop you.
Does FET live and die by the things random people say here, be they roundies or flatties.

So what you are saying is that if you and I were on Tom's mystical beach and looked through a telescope, you would see the other beach and I would not be able to?

When you look at photo's of the lunar landings, do you perceive them as being real?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Is THIS the sun?
« on: August 08, 2017, 04:57:04 AM »
I don't know who deployed the suns and who maintains them,

Well you already know what I think so I won't repeat myself.  :-*

I think Rounder has nailed it, those round things are pressurised fuel pods, some even have insulation still on them. For me this one's a "no brainer" "nothing to see here folks" kind of situation and that's coming from a full blown FEer. As for satelites, I believe they are up there, I don't believe they resemble what we have been told or work in  the way in which we have been informed, we know that some satelites are nuclear which means they could stay up there for a fair stretch without refuelling. (stabbing in the dark now, just like your sun theory)

Anyway, keep it coming, I'm enjoying reading your posts  ;)

If no shoreline/shops/beach can be seen through the telescope then that proves the curvature of the earth, does it not?

No it doesn't,

As others will tell you on here, these distance tests are subjective and people see what they want to see.
You will only convince yourself, and if the experiment points to a flat earth you will find a way to reject it.
Plenty of people have already tried these methods with both results being achieved.
If you think the worlds a globe now, don't be surprised if its reflected in your results.
And if you discover that its really flat, no one on here will believe you even with photographic proof.

But yeah, what the hell, try it anyway...

You could start a thread in the arts and entertainment section.
I am interested in this subject myself, not so much flat earth artists, but how ordinary artists place clues in their vids of the conspiracy including all the Masonic symbolism which they heap on us in their music clips.

Seeing that your on a western binge,
How do you rate the new Mag 7?

I was a tad disappointed with it to be honest.

If you're a creationist, round earth theory could be part of Satan's plot to eliminate God from man's consciousness.

That's me  ;D

This was an excellent summation from someone who doesn't believe in FET.
Smokified should take down some notes.

But also, I do find the information posted on various aspects of how things would be on a flat earth to be highly interesting.

Hi Gecko

If you can discuss it from a hypothetical position then you have something to offer, :)

Its difficult for newbies to understand the dynamic around here, Is this really the most vicious thing a person can believe about the world that we live in. I have seen people come here expecting some kind of discussion and they make one post and never come back. If you really want to engage with others and change their mind on this issue then please be a little more sensitive with your opening remarks.

Your not the worst offender on here but I agree with the moderator in this case, it was a bit over the top for a first post. And this is an open forum and your imput is important and I actually enjoy reading a lot of what you Roundies post and it would be a pretty boring place without you guys.

Why can't we all just get along,,,,,

That verse on his tombstone says nothing about what he believed regarding the earths shape.

Some believe the verse has to do with Operation Fishbowl.

Thank you for allowing me to join your society and I hope to have many of my questions answered.

Hi Plane Conductor,

Welcome to the forum :)

As you can see the site is well moderated but not everyone on here believes in FET.
So feel free to discuss whatever floats your boat on the forum but expect a rigorous response from the Roundies if its anything to do with the world being flat as opposed to an oblate spheroid.

As for myself, I do believe in Flat Earth Theory and get hammered on here occasionally for it.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Is THIS the sun?
« on: August 03, 2017, 09:51:57 PM »
What you are suggesting Hmmm sounds a lot like the trueman show.

The sun and moon were created by God, your explanation naturally leads to aliens seeding mankind.
I don't know what that round thing is, its possibly some form of suppressed technology.
A mini sun makes no sense, how many suns do we need? I thought the one we've got does a pretty good job.

Does anyone else have an explanation for the round thing?

Philosophy, Religion & Society / Re: No Religion= Peace
« on: August 03, 2017, 12:21:29 PM »
Just popin' in to say hi  :)
How's everything going in the peaceful religious discussion thread?

I won't stay long (actually this thread kind of scares me) but I will make the point that it seems to me that some of the people who control the Round Earth conspiracy are also working towards creating a war between the three major monotheistic religions and this war may bring about a world peace of sorts. Even being an atheist won't help you because they hate you guys too, so everyone's going down together.

The only way out of it will be to pledge allegiance to their messiah, whoever that may be.

Many Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, Jews, Agnostics, Dudes who can't beat Rom the vacuous spider (what is it with that level) and numerous others who don't pledge their allegiance to the new messiah are pretty much going to get beheaded, at least that's what I'm thinking this week anyway.

And before all that happens, we are going to have yet another enormous war, so lets try not to speed up the process by hating all the people whose opinions differ from ours, and for us who are Christians, yes, lets preach the gospel being careful to do this in love and not hate, because Christ did not come to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

So all of us on this thread are probably going to die, actually, we are definitely going to die.
I just hope we are all in nursing homes by the time all this stuff starts occurring, but unfortunately, its looking less likely with every week that goes by so here's looking at you kids.

Peace Bros  :D

I have been watching the videos that supposedly reveal NASA as fraudulent with an open mind...
honestly, my trust in them has been reaffirmed as I have done so.

What is the rough age of the Earth in your opinion?

Hi Cosmic Enigma.

I wanted to reply but I probably know as much as you do,
The wiki on here is a good place to start.

I can tell you a couple of things though, firstly, not every FEer believes in a dome.
(I believe in a dome, but I am a Christian and would be in the minority on this site)
The "why are they bothering to hide all this stuff" question can depend on how you view the world.
I see it as a cosmic drama of sorts, wickedness in high places, satan being the father of lies.
Others may see it as a class thing by the ruling elite, you are not worthy to know, now get back to work.

There are knowledgeable FEers on this site, and even some knowledgeable Roundies, who don't mind playing the devils advocate, before they pull out their guns and shoot it full of holes, expect both kinds of replies.

I fail to see any hidden meaning therein.

You are choosing not to see it because it suits your current worldview.

The Hebrews were correct, the cosmology also appears in other ancient cultures in different degrees.
Its very similar to how the deluge mythology is mirrored, it points to the truth.
You have stated that you are open minded, if this is true keep investigating NASA.
