You may as well point us to Aristotle's 2000 year old book which contains his perspective theory illustrations; which is right next to his book which tells us that flies spontaneously generate from rotting meat.

Or a more recent book by a quack who faked his experiments, ran from any debate and was a known fraud.  Wow, that sounds like someone here.

That is quite a claim you have made there. Although you didn't name anyone specifically, so you could just be making things up.

We've been told, repeatedly, on this site that those aren't actual maps.
I assure you they are maps.

Does this mean you support them as actual maps we could use to attempt to measure distances and track navigation on?
Not sure, haven't attempted it.

As amusing as it is that you're 'trolling' me with a lmgtfy link.
If you consider that to be trolling you probably shouldn't be online anymore...

You can split it into two posts.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Airplanes lit from below

We are discussing actual measurable facts.  When I see the sun set in the west it appears higher in the sky for someone 500 miles to the west of me.

When did you measure this?
Last week.  Do you agree?

I don't necessarily disagree, but I'd love to see your logs of data and methods.

There are no flat earth maps.

Actually, there are.
Would you be kind enough to point us to one then? Because I've seen told to us time and time again that the two images on the wiki are not maps, but suggestions on how things *could* look. Which makes sense as both of them are simple projections of the globe model onto a flat plane.

Here is one example of a FE map.

You can also find more here.

How about those Navy lookouts who can estimate the distance to the horizon ?
Are they merely mistaken ?

Not sure if they are mistaken. You should get one or more of them to come discuss it and I guess we can decide then.

the biggest hole in FE as there is no possible flat map that can be drawn using verifiable and proven distances.

Not to mention also the absurdity of FE when compared to horizon and distances to the horizon.....Of the absurdity of FE....Period !

Please try to stay on topic. Not every single thread needs you complaining about the horizon or reminding everyone you were in the navy.

Stop derailing threads with your low content threats.  Not every single thread needs you complaining about how people choose to communicate.

I really have tried to be patient with your nonsense. I am done giving you warnings. Enjoy your promised 30-day ban. If you decide to come back next month, you will have a final chance to stop acting like a petulant child in literally every post. Permaban after that. Take care, friend!

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Likely, my last post

I find this site to be interesting because it makes me think harder about the world around me.   It's an intellectually interesting challenge to come up with demonstrable proof that works within the constraints that the FE'ers impose for "evidence".

I can't always keep up with the discussions here but this forum has been a great source of both entertainment and education. It's a wealth of information about the world around us and how to interpret it.

Please see rule 8. No accounts intended to impersonate other others.

We can just confine this to Flat Earth Debate or perhaps Flat Earth General. The other forums can remain open discussion.

I also think it is a good idea to consolidate the conversations you will just run away from.

If you don't actually have anything to contribute, then refrain from posting. Your low-content, thread derailing isn't helpful.

I will give you one more friendly warning. Next one is a 30-day ban.

Flat Earth General / Re: A misunderstanding

What you just tried to say is the equivalent of saying "I don't understand it and am too dumb to try, so I will just make something up".  Notice how you are not dumb for not understanding, but you are dumb for not trying.

Welcome back. Lay off the personal attacks in the upper fora. Warned.
