auckland to buenos aires
« on: May 14, 2017, 12:22:32 PM »
Has anyone explained the issues with the time of these nonstop flights less than 12 hours?
It does not work on flat earth map.
Is this subject taboo?
I have been following the FE hypothesis for a few months now, but no one will address this, except to say the flights do not exist.
They do exist, so how is this possible?
I can almost wrap my head around everything else, but this is one major sticking point for me that I cannot figure out.
Please help
Thanks, geckothegeek. I guess I will read that for what I read into it.
Why is anyone spending time with this topic?
It was an interesting thought, but WHY waste anymore time on this?

To Chuck:   There is a simple answer and explanation.
To Moderator : But perhaps this should be moved to the Debate section of the forum ?

Why are you personally spending your time on this subject?

Wow,
It is an interesting thought. A flat earth. I almost bought into it.
I think it is sad that some people take pleasure into making fools of others.
You should all be ashamed.

I personally, as a "round earther" , with military experience in the Navy in radar and radio and just observing how things look at sea,  and civilian work in radio, radar, and computers, find the flat earth  "theories" intriguing.

I once suggested that this website should be for ideas as to "how things would have to be if the earth WAS flat."
If you examine these "theories" they DO look as if that is the things would have to  be IF the earth WAS flat.
But there are also those who profess that they  BELIEVE that the earth IS flat.

You have to respect them for at least that ?

I am not sure of your motives. I did not mean to be disrespectful. But why waste time trying to make an impossible model work?
I posted a theory of mine, that brings it all together.
I am not sure how this all got twisted and the information lost over time.
Too much disinformation being promoted for whatever agenda's?

I'll give you a hint, but I will probably get a warning.
As to your original question about Auckland to Buenos Aires :
Look up the "Unipolar Azimuthal Equidistant Projection".
If you are not familiar with this, look up the illustration, description and information on this map and compare this with the flat earth map.
The Bipolar  version has also  been cited as a flat earth map.
