The Evolution of "Get Lucky" the 1920s - 2020s
« on: December 03, 2013, 12:02:56 PM »

Trust me when I say this is more than worth a listen. Basically, this guy takes the song "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk (a song I don't even like) and remakes it from the perspective of each decade, starting from 1920 and progressing to 2020. The result is pretty awesomely wonderful. Also, it reaffirms that I'm a sucker for 80s new wave stuff and need more of it.

The pressing question, FES: which decade of this song is your favourite? :D
There are cigarettes in joints. You don't smoke it by itself.

I think the 80s version was the best.  I'm a little curious why the 2010 version wasn't the original version, unless I'm mistaken.

You can't just summarize an entire decade of music with a few seconds of only one genre! >o<

I liked the '60s one best. Also '80s and '30s for some reason.

This was actually pretty cool. I liked the '40s/'50s adaptations. I really need more music from those decades.

I liked all of them except for the 60s and I didn't care for that 90s bit. The 50s and 2010 were my favorites.

Daft Punk? More like Daft Suck. The only thing they made worth a damn is Interstella 5555, even that sucked for the most part.

Disco was literally the only music that anyone ever made or listened to in the 70s.  Same with New Wave stuff in the 80s.
